On the world famous Reeperbahn in Hamburg there is a general ban on carrying weapons and dangerous objects. In addition, there is a so called “bottle ban” forbidding the use of beverage containers made of glass during the time from 10 pm to 6 am on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

The “bottle ban” was introduced due to an increasing number of injuries caused by people using glass bottles as a weapon.

ハンブルグのレーパーバーンでは、武器や凶器の持ち込みは根本的に禁止されています。さらに22時から06時までの時間は、金、土、日曜日と祭日の前日及び当日は、飲料水やアルコール類の瓶詰め販売及び持込が禁止されています。

この「ガラス瓶」禁止令はガラスの破片を武器として使用した障害事件が多発するからです。
