It is very stressful to find a lifeless person. It doesn´t happen often that an AED is at hand. When in such a situation do not be afraid of making mistakes and do apply the AED. Your action is crucial and can safe a life. The heart activity is analyzed automaticly by the AED. An electric shock is only triggered when neccessary. Further injury by the use of an AED is excluded. The biggest mistake you can do in such a situation is to NOT apply the AED and not help!

1.Call ambulance.

2.Take out AED.

Open the AED.
Remove clothes from chest.
Take electrodes and remove the protective layers.
Stick both electrodes to the skin of the chest.
AED will diagnose.
Do not touch the person.
If red light flashes: Push the red button (AED will trigger an electric shock only when needed).
Chest compressions according to instructions of AED.
Give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation if neccessary.

These Stepps may vary depending on the manufacturer and the model of the AED. In general AEDs work according to the same principle and are designed to be used by laymen.

So, don´t be afraid and DO use the AED when neccessary!

１．緊急電話をする。

２．AEDを取り出す。

AEDをボタンを押して開く。
上半身の衣類を開く。
エレクトロ部分についている保護テープを取り除く。
エレクトロを胸の肌に貼る。
器具は診断分析を始める。
患者を触らない事。
赤ランプが消滅する。・赤ボタンを押してショックを送る。（この器具は本当に必要でなければショックは送りません。）
必要と見れば心臓マッサージをする。

装備やモデルが異なると手順も少々違う事があります。しかし素人が扱えるように製作されている器具ですのでAEDどれもほとんど同じです。
