Speed limits around schools and kindergartens increase the road safety of school kids.

In Germany, the speed limit on main streets is usually 50 km/h within city limits. In the vicinity of schools and kindergartens there are specific zones where the daytime speed limit is reduced to 30 km/h on weekdays. Here is an example of such a zone. On weekdays, from 6 am to 10 pm the speed limit for the next 400 yards is 30 km/h. Apart of this time and on Sundays the speed limit is 50 km/h.

In an effort to prevent traffic accidents involving school children, such traffic-calmed zones should be introduced on a global scale.

ドイツでは多くの学校または幼稚園の周りにある道路には速度制限があります。動画に写っているように普通５０キロで走る道路が学生さんの交通安全のために３０キロに制限されています。「平日朝６時から夜１０時まで」と、「これから先４００メーター」という制限です。子供の交通事故を防ぐために世界中の学校の周りにある道路を同じように制限するべきだと思います。
