As we know that the elderly experience both physical and mental slowdown and sometimes easily annoyed. Thus, they need our understanding and tender loving care to ensure them that they are loved and cared. Here are some Safety tips for our elders,

Home Safety:
1. Have sturdy rails for all stairs inside and outside the house, it should be non-slip surface so that our elders will not slip down the stairs.
2. Some elders wake up in the middle of the night and might wander around the house and bump into objects that might hurt them. To avoid this, leave the light on before sleeping.
3. Dispose any old medicines.
4. Make sure that the medicines are labeled.
5. Help them when they are taking a bath.
6. Also, let them wear proper fitting shoes with low heels

Don't let our elders feel that they are alone, talk to them, accompany them as much as possible. Help your loved ones by ensuring their safety.
