小麦粉やお好み焼き粉など、開封後に長い間にしまったままにしていると、ダニが繁殖し、知らずに食べた人が即時型アレルギー(アナフィラキシー)を起こすケースが起きているそうです。
開封後は冷蔵庫で保管するとダニの繁殖を防げるので効果的だそうですが、早めの消費を心掛けたほうがよいと思われます。
