Mit Hilfe dieser Vorrichtung steht der sicheren Nutzung von Rolltreppen durch Rollstuhlfahrer nichts im Weg. Allerdings ist das Rufen eines Bahnmitarbeiters sowie die zeitweise Sperrung der Rolltreppe von Nachteil.

Next, part of the escalator which has three level of steps connected will appear (indicated with blue lines). This particular section is all on the same flat level. Person in a wheelchair will go up and down utilizing these steps. With this, a person in a wheelchair can also now safely go up and down the stairs.
However, having to ask for a station attendant and temporarily blocking the use by the general public still leaves some inconveniences.
