Viren, speziell Backdoor Trojans, können auf die Webcam eines Rechners zugreifen und diese unbemerkt operieren. Ich verwende eine Webcam mit Sichtschutz. Anfangs habe ich den Sichtschutz häufig nicht beachtet und die Webcam war "offen". Nun halte ich den Sichtschutz grundsätzlich geschlossen und öffne ihn nur bei Gebrauch der Webcam. Bild 1: offener Sichtschutz. Bild 2: geschlossener Sichtschutz.

Backdoor virus operates webcam unnoticed

Viruses, especially Backdoor Trojans can access the webcam of your computer and operate it unnoticed. Even though this cover does not protect the computer from being infected with a virus, it prevents you and your surrounding being videotaped unnoticed. In the beginning, I did not pay much attention to the cover and kept the camera “open”. Now I keep the cover closed at all times and only open it when using the webcam.

シャッター付きのWEBカメラでウイルス対策

カメラ機能を自動的に起動させ映像をネット上に流すというウイルスがあるため私はシャッター付きのWEBカメラを使用しています。最初はシャッターを開けっ放しにしていましたが、今はWEBカメラを使用していない時は必ずシャッターを下ろすようにしています。画像１：シャッターが開いている状態。画像２：シャッターが閉まっている状態。
